Performed zoned single system heat pump. System is from 2020. Checked amps, capacitor, filter, electrical, heating strips, cleanliness, and drains. We investigated an issue that the customer brought to our attention involving the illnesses in the home. The return plenum is undersized and not properly sealed to the system. The system does not currently have a float switch to help defend against water damage in the home. Provided pricing to address known issues.
Performed single system heating maintenance. System was installed in June of last year. Checked amps, capacitor, cleanliness, filter, drain, electrical, flame sensor, igniter, inducer, and safeties. System is heating to manufacture specifications. Suggest adding a surge protector to protect the control board, blower motor, and inducer inside of the furnace.
The customer stated that the thermostat was having the same issues as before after replacing the existing thermostat. The problem seems to be intermittent and the thermostat wires may be compromised. I swapped the yellow wire for cooling with the orange wire and the system started cooling after factory time delay. If problem persist, the thermostat wire will need to be replaced. No further issues at this time
System was working upon arrival. Customer stated it would suddenly start getting hot. Thermostat seems to put itself in a delay. I removed the thermostat and jumped R to Y and cycled by the breaker on the roof multiple times. Thermostat needs to be replaced.

Will give the air returns FREE for both bedrooms.. **** The customer has to agree on the estimate today, October 7. To receive the air returns for free. The value for adding the air returns is $1300 for both returns. Customer has to agree on the estimate October 7….. 50% down payment is required.
Found a bad Goodman control board. Thermostat was shut completely off with no 24v on any of the terminals. Control board was sensing voltage to hi heat, cool, and low heat. System is operational but the blower will not shut off. Attempted to call standard to price a board but they were closed. We will get a price for the control board on Monday. System is 4 months outside of warranty.
Came out for 2 system maintenance. Downstairs unit our install 1 year old. All components are operating within manufacture specifications in heating and cooling. Recommend adding pan treatment in both systems. Customer approved change out of 210 April air filter. Upstairs unit blower is dirty recommend cleaning also no float safety switch or blow out kit recommend adding. Both systems are operating at this time. Thank you for your time.

Recommend performing duct cleaning and blower cleaning. 2. System does not have any form of water safety. This can lead to water damage to ceilings and even flooring depending on severity. Recommend adding float switch and blow out valve. Also, suggest doing a drain treatment. 3. System currently has air loss at the supply plenum due to the seal coming up. Recommend resealing the supply plenum. 4. Recommend upgrading filter to a Aprilaire to try and help keep the system cleaner.
Performed 2 system heating maintenance. Checked amps, filters, electrical, flame sensors, pressure switches, igniters, inducers, flues, blowers, and cleanliness. Systems are heating to manufacture specifications. Suggestions and concerns 1. Ducts and blowers are dirty and need cleaning. Excessive dust causes extra stress on the major components of the system and will cause failures down the road. Examples: compressor, blower evaporator coil failures. 2. Water safety- neither system currently has any water safety switches to help detect clogs before major water damage occurs. 3. Suggest system upgrades due to age. Systems are outside parts warranty and are 12 years old.
