Could not complete dryer vent cleaning as dryer vent cap is not serviceable. Cap is tied in underneath shingles and could not be removed or opened without damaging shingles. If I were to clear the dryer vent all the lint would wind up stuck in the box on the roof and potentially create a worse blockage. Collected dispatch fee.

I found the blower motor and wiring harness to be blackened on the pins at the connections. The motor was not coming on when providing a call for cool, or just fan on. Both will need to be replaced. Caused by a surge in power. By adding surge protection to each unit(inside and outside) you can help prevent any potential damage caused by lightning strikes and any other types of surges in power. Preformed motor change out and wiring harness, added 2 surge protectors on the upstairs unit.

Upon arrival client stated the upstairs unit was not blowing cool air. When I pulled up I noticed the outside unit to be running, went inside and he indoor unit was not running at all. I turned the power off at the thermostat and turned fan only on. I noticed the fan did not come on when given a call for it, I could also smell a burnt smelling coming from the blower cabinet. I disconnect power and removed the wiring plug to the blower motor to find the pins and harness to be burnt. This tells me the motor and harness need to be changed out to get the unit back to operating correctly. Unit is currently still down with power disconnected in the attic.

Upon arrival, I discovered the system to be operational and no error codes on the thermostat. I ohmed the sensor and found it to be faulty. I verified warranty on the outdoor unit. This part serves as a safety to protect the outdoor unit from running in none ideal temperatures. Customer refused to proceed with the repair at the time of service.

Completed thorough duct cleaning estimate, i found that both system can benefit from having a full system cleaning done on them. The duct work on each system has dust build up along with the other major components such as the blower wheels and evaporator coils. Both drain lines will be cleared with the full system cleanings as well. Having the systems major components cleaned regularly can help with energy bills and performance of the system. I did find on the west side unit in the attic. That the blower motor is leaking oil and can possibly fail in the future if not changed out.

I performed a single cooling maintenance on a 2020 gas system. Upon arrival, I noticed the humidity to be high. I discovered that the thermostat was set to fan on. I checked the drain and confirmed that it was clogged. I had a poor temperature split and I hooked up my gauges. This noticed that I had a high suction pressure and extremely low superheat with a low liquid pressure and a perfect subcooling. This lead me to a failing TXV causing a humidity issue. The ducts need to be cleaned and customer wanted to install an Aprilaire filter upgrade kit. The filter size is a 20x25x4. We need to reach out tomorrow for correcting the financing and scheduling for duct cleaning, Aprilaire filter upgrade kit, and TXV.
