I performed a 2 system cooling maintenance on 2021 and 2020 equipment. I checked amps, capacitors, filters, electrical, drains, cleanliness, and safeties. The systems are cooling well. I offered to install surge protection for the outdoor equipment to hopefully preserve them from potential surge damage. I offered to upgrade the unit’s filtration system to help keep the air healthier and the indoor equipment cleaner. During my thorough evaluation, I observed 2 issues. These issues are the capacitor for the blower of the upstairs unit, and the capacitor for the downstairs outdoor unit. Both of these are used to start the major electrical components and will not operate if these fail. I provided options to do these listed items during the time of service.
