Addressed a loud noise that customer was experiencing. I determined that it was the defrost cycle bycbring the customer outside and testing it. Recommendations 1. Recommend performing a drain treatment on the drains to prep for next cooling season. 2. I recommend adding a u/v light due to dust starting to build up within the system in the attempt to slow it down.

Performed 2 system heating maintenance. Checked amps, capacitors, filters, electrical, safeties, and cleanliness. Systems are performing to manufacture specifications. Recommendations 1. Replacement of all of the filters.
House does not have gas right now. Customer was under the assumption that we look at all of the gas pipes in the house. I clarified that only a very small portion is associated with us and instructed him to call a plumbing company. Cycled unit with a jumper to see if the system was sorta operational. The system seems to work fine but needs gas. System currently does not have wires to where the thermostat was moved to. Outdoor unit is currently levitated by the copper lines because the foundation repair crew caused it to lose all of its dirt. System appeared to be zoned but does not need it. Instructed customer to give us another call if there are other code violations or other needs for our services.
Unit is located near building D. Unit is on a green shipment container. System is in a horrible state. LEDs on inverter board do not work. System will run but doesn’t seem to be pumping heat. Indoor unit will not speed the blower up either. Customer is interested in replacement of the mini split.

Maintenance unit running as it should per manufacturer spec. All electrical components, clear and dust free condensing units outback have no debris buildup on coils both units operating. Homeowner said he was going to replace the air filter in his downstairs unit upstairs air filter clean. Discussed with homeowner about adding 6 inches of attic insulation where his downstairs unit is located. Noticed there is minimal to no insulation in his office as well as throughout lower end of the house as you can visually see 2x4;ceiling rafters, and ceiling joists.
Investigated a burning smell that customer experienced this morning. Evaluated the electrical components inside of the system to ensure proper function. Customer stated that the thermostat was off and reading 62 this morning. They proceeded to turn the system in heat and set to 68. The temperature gap is too big and caused the heating strips to engage. This would produce a burning smell. System is operating to manufacture specifications.
