AC Repair and HVAC Service in Prosper, TX

Twenty-five service calls in Prosper between January and September 2026. That’s not a number we’re making up – it comes from our own technicians’ job logs. Adon Complete Air Conditioning and Heating has been running AC repair and HVAC service calls in Prosper, TX for years, and the homes here are exactly what our technicians are built for. Large floor plans, multiple systems, a mix of 2016-era Trane and Lennox units hitting the ten-year mark alongside brand-new 2023 and 2025 installs. We know what’s in these homes because we’ve worked on them. We’re a Trane Comfort Specialist and Mitsubishi-authorized dealer, and we’re available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

What We See on Prosper Service Calls

Prosper’s homes tend to run two, three, or four HVAC systems. Many of the 2016 builds are reaching the point where capacitors, blower motors, and contactors are starting to wear. The newer 2023 and 2025 installs are still early in their life but need proper maintenance to protect the manufacturer’s warranty. Here’s a snapshot of what our technicians handle in Prosper regularly:

Four-system maintenance on a home with three 2016 Trane units and one 2025 Lennox. Two-system maintenance on back-to-back 2020 and 2023 Trane gas systems. Air balance diagnostics for a master bedroom hotspot. Mold inspection near an evaporator coil drain. Surge protector installations on outdoor disconnects. Blower motor replacements. Aprilaire filter upgrades from standard four-inch box filters. These are not unusual calls for Prosper. They’re typical.

Services We Offer in Prosper

AC Repair. All makes and models. From a failed capacitor on a 2016 unit to a blower motor replacement on a newer system, we diagnose it and fix it right.

AC and Heating Installation. Whether you’re replacing one aging unit or upgrading an entire multi-system setup, we size everything using a proper load calculation and back every installation with up to a 10-year labor warranty.

HVAC Maintenance. Our Adon Care Club is $12 a month. Two seasonal tune-ups, priority scheduling, repair discounts, no diagnostic fees, and 24/7 emergency access. For Prosper homeowners with multiple systems, staying on a maintenance schedule is one of the smartest ways to catch problems early.

Mini-Split Installation. In-law suites, bonus rooms, and detached garages are common in Prosper’s larger homes. Our technicians have installed ductless systems throughout Prosper as a practical solution for spaces the central system doesn’t reach well.

Heat Pump Installation and Repair. Heat pumps are turning up more frequently in Prosper’s newer builds. We install and service them alongside traditional gas systems throughout the area.

Indoor Air Quality. Our technicians have recommended UV light installations, Aprilaire filter upgrades, and duct cleaning on multiple Prosper service calls this year. If your systems are aging or you’ve had moisture or air quality concerns, we offer a free “What Are You Breathing?” screening.

Air Duct Cleaning. Several of our Prosper job notes this year flag ductwork and blower wheels that are overdue for cleaning on 2016-era systems. Professional duct cleaning improves air quality and helps the system run more efficiently.

Air Duct Repair and Sealing. Leaky ducts account for 20 to 30 percent of system output loss. We’ve found and fixed duct issues on Prosper homes that were causing uneven cooling between floors. We inspect, repair, and seal ductwork throughout the area.

Common Questions From Prosper Homeowners

My home has three or four HVAC systems. Can you handle all of them?

Yes. Multi-system homes are standard for us in Prosper. We’ve done four-system maintenance visits, diagnosed air balance issues between floors, and replaced components on multiple units in a single visit. One call covers everything.

My 2016 Trane units are starting to have issues. Should I repair or replace?

That depends on what’s failing and the overall condition of the system. A capacitor or contactor replacement on a 2016 unit is usually worth doing. A compressor failure on the same system is a different conversation. We give you an honest assessment of what it would cost to repair versus what a replacement would run, and we let you make the call. Call (903) 482-4900 to schedule a diagnostic visit.

How often should multi-system homes in Prosper get maintenance?

Twice a year minimum. Spring before cooling season and fall before heating season. With multiple systems running, catching a failing capacitor or a dirty blower wheel early prevents the kind of emergency repairs that happen at the worst possible time. Our Adon Care Club at $12 a month covers all of your systems on those two visits.

Do you install surge protectors for HVAC systems in Prosper?

Yes. We recommend surge protectors on outdoor disconnects for Prosper homes, especially homes that took lightning-related damage or had a disconnect issue. We’ve installed them on multiple Prosper properties this year. A surge protector is a straightforward way to protect equipment that’s expensive to replace.

What areas near Prosper do you serve?

Customer had concerns about water dripping from one of the supply grills. They had a roofer come out and he only found that under the ductwork at the boot was damp. The boot is getting very cold and when part of it is exposed to the attic air it will create condensation. The back of the boot did not have any insulation around it. I put some all the way around it to prevent attic air from getting to the boot. Checked other portions of the duct run and there was not signs of water.

Customer was having concerns about mold growth in closet. They had a mold inspector come through and they said it could be coming from the HVAC system. There was insulation moved around where he thought could be the problem. That area was actually about the bathroom, there was no signs of growth in the attic on the top of the Sheetrock. The insulation was still there it was just spread out so I moved it back into place. The area above the closet is insulated properly. Checked the top side of the sheet rock above where the mold was and there is no growth present. Mold is not being cause by the HVAC system. Inspector also noted growth on outside of the coils on the drain lines. Customer also wanted that cleaned up if possible. I was able to clean the drain lines and the metal part of the coils. The pukie still has black on it but that cannot be cleaned off any further. Customer also wanted to add UV lights. Getting with office to get estimate sent over.

I performed a single cooling maintenance on a 2016 gas system. I was instructed to vacuum the water out of the emergency drain pan. I investigated why water was reaching emergency drain pan. I removed the drains to look for debris blocking the entrance. I removed the secondary drain and seen water pooling in the evaporator coil. I checked the levelness of the equipment and found it to be fine. With the design of the system, the system is producing too much static pressure. The plenum is too small and the evaporator coil has never been cleaned. This high static is likely the cause of the blower motor going out. The compressor is amping high during running, too. This is likely connected to the evaporator coil needing cleaning because it would cause liquid refrigerant to return to the compressor resulting in high amps and slugging. During the maintenance, other than the drain issue, it appears to be performing fine. I rinsed the outside unit, tested the drains, tested the electrical, and
