A service person should always carry new air filters with them on service calls, Every systems needs them replaced. Its hard for me to get in the attic and replace a filter at 82 years of age, I would have no problem paying extra for it at time of service.

Performing a blower cleaning to remove caked debris. This causes the motor to have to work harder ultimately reducing efficiency and lifespan 2. System needs a float switch in the case a clog occurs.

Came out for 2 system maintenance. Upon arrival started with upstairs unit. Checked all heating elements to verify proper heating sequence. All components are operating at this time. On downstairs unit checked all heating components to verify proper heating sequence all components are operating at this time. Both systems don’t have sediment traps for gas line which is code recommended adding. Insulation is also low recommend adding. Thank you for your time.

Came out for a 1 system maintenance. Upon arrival started with indoor unit. Furnace cabinet is dirty as well as burners.which is contributing to kick back of flames recommend cleaning burners. 10/11/24 Installed inverter board and energized system. The control board next to the inverter board that has the power inputs began to spark. This board also needs to be replaced. Jay requested an estimate for replacement. Mini split with 2 or 3 heads that are wall mounted. ————————————-——————————————————- Replacing Mini Split Inverter Board under parts warranty Part is in California, once job is approved we will order. Due to having to special order the part, we will need a half down deposit.

Point of contact stated the drain was clogged. Blew primary drain and secondary line with 150psi of nitrogen. Also, I did a complimentary chemical flush. System is draining properly. Minimal pictures were taken due to access and physical demand to hold the nitrogen tank on top of a ladder.

Performed visual and operational inspection of the sales office located on the southwest corner of building. I found the thermostats for the multi head mini split black due to the power being secure on the roof. I turned on the circuit breaker and smoke started pouring out of the condenser. Upon further inspection, I found the inverter board was burning causing the smoke. The inverter board is in need of replacement to continue further diagnosis of the system. The customer is also wanting a quote of utilizing the HVAC unit in the bay to substitute cooling for the mini split in the sales office. This would involve running new ductwork and returns to the office area. I must consult with Jesse to properly draw out the project as well as costs.

There is a piece of insulation inside the boot duct on the grill. Systems were ran without filter in one of them. And the other filter on the other unit was completely plugged drywall dust and dirt .Recommend both systems be thoroughly cleaned. Cleaning evaporator coil in place, pulling and cleaning blower assembly and duct work. Scaffolding will have to be brought in to be able to reach living room vents. Removed filter in the one unit and put downstairs up against the stairs. The other one is still in the attic where someone left it. One is a 20 x 25 x 4 and the other one is a 20 x 25 x 1
